Tech Center Events

The Red Door is a fun event with colours facilitated by artist and mental health advocate, Reshma Valliappan. On 29th November 2011, the students of FAT's Tech Center organized a Red Door in their community. The event saw a plethora of colours and creativity in the premises of the Jalvihar locality in Lajpat Nagar. Reshma's aim through the concept of Red Door is to encourage people of different age groups express their hooded imagination and creativity through the medium of art.

The Tech Center we had been dreaming of for a long time was finally been launched on 3rd of July, 2010. The small informal function held at the new center was joyfully attended by our guests and the girls in high spirits. Valsa Williams, Manager, Corporate Affairs, Intel Inc. inaugurated the centre in the presence of the other board and team members including Monisha Behal, Gurinder Kaur, Hassath along with the volunteers. It was a memorable day for FAT as the girl’s faces shone bright with enthusiasm as Valsa Williams conducted an inspiring and a lively dialogue with them.
