Asha Tiwari 
Admin Assistant and Community Worker, asha@fat-net.org

Asha is presently pursuing MCA (Masters in Computer Applications) from IGNOU. She is interested in youth development and the rights of young people and has been involved with a group called Pragatisheel Yuva Sanagathan for the last 8 years. A young enthusiastic woman, Asha takes care of all the administrative work at FAT and works directly with the community we work with for the Tech Center Project.

Gayatri Buragohain

An electronics engineer by education, expert on online communications for non-profits, a passionate advocate of equal participation of women in technology, Gayatri is the founder of FAT. FAT combines her extensive technological background with her passion for women's empowerment. For her dedication towards promoting women in technology, she was awarded the Change Agent Award by Anita Borg Institute in 2010. Presently, she is also a member of the ACM India Council and is also the ACM-W Ambassador in India.

Hassath
Consultant - Systems and Documentation, hassath@fat-net.org

Hassath has always enjoyed learning new things and working in different areas and her career reflects that. She has worked with the publishing industry and video film-making, and then moved to the development sector, where she has spent most of her professional life. She has been managing the Information Systems at Aman Trust for the past seven years. Besides being a professional Linux administrator, she is a strong advocate of equal opportunities for everyone and loves to watch films.

Nandini Rao
Consultant - Advocacy, nandini@fat-net.org

Nandini has worked on the issue of violence against women for several years now in organisations in Mumbai, Chennai and currently, in Delhi. She is a feminist counsellor, working with families, communities and the state to try to bring about change in attitude, perception and behaviour. She is also a trainer, running workshops using participatory and feminist methodologies, on issues related to women's rights and empowerment. Women's stories of struggle are where it all started for her and they continue to inspire and inform her work. 

Srirupa Bhowmik
Program Assistant - Research and Communication, srirupa@fat-net.org

Srirupa graduated from Delhi University with a BA in Political Science, and recently completed her Masters in International Relations from Jadavpur University. She believes in the necessity and the urgency of advancing women’s rights throughout the world, and especially in the field of science and technology. Srirupa joined our team in July and will be involved in the Adolescent Girls Program and would also handle communication development.
