What We Do
FAT organizes workshops for women on different technical skills. When we say technology, we mean everything that comes under the umbrella of technology and not only computers and ICTs. We explore different technology skills that will help women and organize workshops on those skills. Topics may range from food processing to electrical wiring of a house to even repairing a broken car. We find resource person willing to work with us and organize workshops in different parts of the country. The idea is to motivate women to learn and participate, and to provide the access to information.
At FAT, we have categorized women in five categories based on their usage of technology. According to these categories, we have designed five different programs. The five programs are:
