Girl Students Program
This program is for girl students between the age 10 and 18.
Activities planned under this program are:
- Workshops for girls from rural and urban poor regions on technologies that are not readily accessible to them. These workshops act as a window for girls to know and use latest technologies.
- Science and tech fairs can be organized for girl students, where there will be quiz competitions, science project competitions, career counseling, etc. Established women scientists/technologists will be showcased as role models for young girls.
- Teachers of schools should be motivated to pay special attention to the girl students’ performance in science and mathematics and encourage them to take up science careers.
