Rural Women Program

This program is for rural women. This is the category of women who don’t have access to technology or to information. It is important that they have information and access to computers and ICTs. Apart from workshops on computer skills and ICTs, we can also organize workshops on rural technologies like, biogas, organic fertilizers, solar energy, community radio system, etc. for rural women.

Activities planned under this program are:

1. Workshops on using rural technology efficiently and effectively will be organized for women in rural areas.
2. Workshops to introduce computers and ICTs amongst rural women will be organized. We will work with them to see how these skills can help them in earning a good livelihood.
3. An e-commerce site can be designed to help rural women sell their handicrafts and other home made products online. FAT can manage the site in the initial stage and slowly help them learn how to manage it on their own
